Maritime Common Operating Picture
A Common Operational Picture (COP) is a military expression describing a knowledge network of a particular operation and all of its component parts (command centers, vehicles, personnel, bases, etc.). The goal in establish a COP is to develop real-time situational awareness in order to optimize decision making. This demonstration of Anzo shows how it it can be used to build a Maritime COP that focuses on an international naval ecosystem in the South China Sea, as that is an area of geopolitical interest.
